Welcome to Youth Soccer
in the Bulkley Valley Area

BV Soccer Society operates soccer programs in Houston, Telkwa,  Smithers, Witset and Hazelton with over 800 kids participating each year.

We offer programs for all ages, all level of play:

  • House League: for all kids ages 4 to 18 (age as of Jan 1st).
  • Development Soccer: U10 and higher, kids looking to further their skills and compete at local and out of town tournaments (including the chance to play at Provincials).
  • Fall and Winter Academies: develop skills in an indoor environment during the off field months.
  • Indoor League: set teams and game play
  • Summer  Academies: 2-4 week programs
  • Summer Camps: 1-2 week durations
  • Turf Tots: Summer program for kids 4 and younger

House league starts when the fields are dry and ready, usually around the first week in May, and continues until the end of June.

Development teams start indoor and go throughout the summer months, finishing with a local tournament.  There will be travel games and a major tournament, the Northern Cup, which is the qualifier for the BC Soccer Provincials.

House and Development Registration usually opens in March.  As we adhere to the BC Soccer, ViaSport and the BC Health Authorities, our registration dates and program details may fluctuate due to the latest the Covid restrictions.
